What you will do

  • Take full ownership of standard and mid-size contract negotiations for the US, Canada, and UK regions.
  • Act as the go-to legal partner for the North American Sales team, providing pragmatic solutions to unblock deals.
  • Handle high-stakes deals: Lead complex, multi-year negotiations with minimal supervision.
  • Take the lead on a major transversal topic (such as AI compliance or a specific compliance project) that impacts the company globally.
  • Optimize contract templates for the US/UK markets based on feedback.
  • Be fully recognized as a leader within the legal team, capable of stepping in on any region or complex dossier when needed.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in business law and contracting.
  • Ideally gained within the Tech/SaaS ecosystem or an international law firm.
  • You have a deep understanding of the legal subtleties of US and UK contracts.
  • Experience living or working in the US or Canada is a strong plus.
  • Proven experience aligning stakeholders.
  • You are bilingual (English/French), capable of negotiating complex legal terms and drafting in English and French on a daily basis.
