What you will do
- Define and drive architecture and design for a multi-tenanted wealth digital estate.
- Manage complex architectural change involving multiple integrated systems.
- Ensure designs meet high standards for security, reliability, and scalability.
- Implement modern architectural patterns including microservices, CQRS, and event-driven systems.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to simplify and redefine the data and technology landscape.
Requirements
- Extensive experience leading architectural change within complex, multi-system environments.
- Deep understanding of web and API architecture patterns (microservices, CQRS, pub/sub).
- Proven ability to design solutions for security, scalability, and system reliability.
- Practical knowledge of security patterns including OAuth, single-sign-on, and data encryption.
- Ability to work in a hybrid environment based in Edinburgh or Leeds.
Nice to have
- Experience designing and building cloud platforms (GCP, Azure, or AWS).
- Knowledge of domain-driven design and event-driven architectures.
- Leadership experience managing or mentoring other architects.
- Experience prototyping solutions using various tech stacks.
