What you will do

  • Build and understand threat models specific to the platform and business.
  • Conduct research and development to gather new data sources and improve threat intelligence.
  • Design, pilot, and implement logging and alerting systems for various environments.
  • Build tools and devise automation strategies for threat hunting and incident response.
  • Investigate security events and triage potential incidents.
  • Collaborate with internal teams during incidents and lead response efforts.
  • Identify, analyze, and build threat intelligence on adversary tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs).

Requirements

  • Proven experience in one or more of: digital forensics, malware analysis, incident management, host/network intrusion detection, or threat intelligence.
  • Strong development skills in Python and/or Go.
  • Advanced knowledge of operating system internals (macOS, Windows, Linux).
  • Core competency in two or more of: Kubernetes, Amazon Web Services (AWS), Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
  • Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or equivalent experience.
  • 1+ years of experience in corporate or enterprise security or a similar security engineering role.

Nice to have

  • Demonstrated knowledge in threat hunting and developing logic for automation.
  • Familiarity with cloud-based services and infrastructure (Google Cloud, Workspace, AWS).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with high attention to detail.
  • Work record of collaborating with internal and external stakeholders.
