What you will do
- Build and understand threat models specific to the platform and business.
- Conduct research and development to gather new data sources and improve threat intelligence.
- Design, pilot, and implement logging and alerting systems for various environments.
- Build tools and devise automation strategies for threat hunting and incident response.
- Investigate security events and triage potential incidents.
- Collaborate with internal teams during incidents and lead response efforts.
- Identify, analyze, and build threat intelligence on adversary tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs).
Requirements
- Proven experience in one or more of: digital forensics, malware analysis, incident management, host/network intrusion detection, or threat intelligence.
- Strong development skills in Python and/or Go.
- Advanced knowledge of operating system internals (macOS, Windows, Linux).
- Core competency in two or more of: Kubernetes, Amazon Web Services (AWS), Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or equivalent experience.
- 1+ years of experience in corporate or enterprise security or a similar security engineering role.
Nice to have
- Demonstrated knowledge in threat hunting and developing logic for automation.
- Familiarity with cloud-based services and infrastructure (Google Cloud, Workspace, AWS).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with high attention to detail.
- Work record of collaborating with internal and external stakeholders.
