What you will do

  • Design, develop, deploy, and operate scalable backend microservices in a cloud-native environment.
  • Take end-to-end ownership of services, from architecture and implementation to monitoring and continuous improvement.
  • Contribute to event-driven systems using modern messaging and streaming technologies.
  • Apply DevOps best practices, including CI/CD, infrastructure automation, and observability.
  • Collaborate as a proactive, solution-oriented member of an autonomous, cross-functional agile team.
  • Share knowledge, support peers, and contribute to engineering excellence within the team.

Requirements

  • Strong background in backend development, with a focus on microservices and distributed systems.
  • Proven ability to build event-driven architectures using messaging technologies (RabbitMQ, Kafka, AWS SQS/SNS).
  • Proficiency in Go.
  • Practical knowledge of Docker, container orchestration tools like Kubernetes, and CI/CD implementation.
  • Solid foundation in testing practices, including both unit and end-to-end testing.
  • Deep understanding of relational databases.
  • English: B2 required.
  • Location: Must be based in Eastern Europe.

Nice to have

  • Familiarity with MongoDB, Elasticsearch, and/or GraphQL.
  • Experience with JVM languages.
