What you will do

  • Conduct interviews with business and IT stakeholders to elicit and document functional requirements.
  • Analyze existing systems and integration flows using ArchiMate, BPMN, and C4 standards.
  • Define TO-BE system requirements for middleware, API layers, and event-driven services.
  • Collaborate with Enterprise and Integration Architects to maintain technical requirement traceability.
  • Support gap analysis between core banking capabilities and target distributed architectures.
  • Manage project documentation in Atlassian Confluence and JIRA.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience as a System or Business Analyst in banking or financial services.
  • English proficiency: Upper-Intermediate (B2) or higher.
  • Deep understanding of core banking systems and digital channel architecture.
  • Proficiency with ArchiMate, BPMN 2.0, C4 modeling, and UML.
  • Experience documenting integration flows and REST/HTTPS API contracts.
  • Familiarity with event-driven architecture concepts (Kafka, async messaging).

Nice to have

  • Knowledge of EU financial regulatory frameworks (GDPR, AML, PSD2).
  • Familiarity with Azure cloud services and AKS-based microservices.
  • Experience with large universal banks in the CEE region.
