What you will do

  • Design, develop, and optimize AI software solutions including algorithms and frameworks.
  • Implement, tune, and evaluate AI models to ensure high performance and accuracy.

  • Collaborate with product teams and external partners on end-to-end AI systems.
  • Conduct system-level deployment tasks to ensure scalable and efficient AI performance.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a PhD in Computer Science or a closely related field.
  • Proven experience in workload analysis, workload optimization, and computer architecture.
  • Knowledge of machine learning, deep learning, or computer vision domains.
  • Ability to work within a hybrid model on-site at the Munich office.

Nice to have

  • Hands-on experience with performance analysis tools like VTune or processor simulators.
  • Background working with parallel workloads such as scientific computing or data analytics.
  • Understanding of multi-node hardware/software systems.
  • Familiarity with optimization strategies like roofline analysis, communication avoidance, and caching behavior.
