TL;DR

Sr. Service Engineer (Azure): Designing, developing, implementing, testing, and maintaining complex business and computer application software with an accent on Azure-based environments, security engineering, and large-scale systems development. Salary: $110,000 to $120,000 USD/annually

What you will do

  • Design, develop, implement, test, and maintain business applications and specialized utility programs.
  • Gather and analyze system requirements and convert them into technical specifications.
  • Conduct unit testing for both new and legacy production systems.
  • Implement system-level software and customize solutions to meet unique client needs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • 10+ years of professional experience in software engineering or similar roles.
  • Experience with large-scale systems software design and development.
  • Azure expertise, especially in Virtual Networking, Azure Security, and Infrastructure architecture.
  • Security Engineering and Security Architecture experience.
  • PowerShell scripting proficiency.
  • Experience with ARM templates for Azure resource deployment.

Nice to have

  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.
  • Knowledge of cloud governance, identity management, and Zero Trust principles.
  • Familiarity with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Experience supporting enterprise-scale migrations or modernization initiatives.
