What you will do

  • Embed the long-term design vision for coherent support experiences connecting customer journeys, internal systems, and human service.
  • Lead large, end-to-end design initiatives across ambiguous problem spaces, including AI-enabled experiences and internal tooling.
  • Design with a service mindset, understanding real-world impact beyond the interface and across touchpoints.
  • Navigate tradeoffs, guide strategic decisions, and partner with cross-functional leaders to define and execute product strategies.
  • Coach Operations Collective designers, run design crits, and support their work to raise the bar for design craft.
  • Act as a visible ambassador for Design, mentoring other designers and fostering a culture of growth.

Requirements

  • Expertise in a specific design discipline with strong foundational product design skills.
  • Comfortable designing for AI and automation-enabled environments.
  • Experience working on complex service ecosystems where digital products connect to real-world operations.
  • Proven track record of delivering high-impact design work driving customer outcomes and influencing metrics.
  • Excellent visual, UI, and interaction design skills, with the ability to think through complex interactions.
  • Strategic thinker capable of shaping product direction and translating goals into actionable plans.
