What you will do
- Develop and maintain backend services using Elixir and Phoenix, integrated with TypeScript/React frontends.
- Design and implement new features and integrations across the iCapital ecosystem.
- Collaborate with product and design teams throughout the full software development lifecycle.
- Address issues identified during automated and manual testing to ensure system reliability.
- Influence technical strategy and contribute to project vision within a collaborative team.
Requirements
- 10–15+ years of relevant software engineering experience.
- Strong understanding of web fundamentals (HTTP, CORS, CSP, cookies).
- Demonstrated success writing production-ready code in modern programming languages.
- Proficiency with relational database fundamentals and relational dataset querying.
- Strong Linux and command-line skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Nice to have
- Experience with Go, Node.js, or Ruby.
- Expertise in React, Vue, or LiveView.
- Hands-on experience with AWS infrastructure and Terraform.
- Background in security or penetration testing.
- Technical leadership or management experience.
