What you will do
- Build and operate Azure infrastructure using IaC (Terraform) with a focus on performance, resilience, and security-by-default.
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps and/or GitHub Actions for data & application workloads.
- Support containerized workloads (Docker, AKS) and improve deployment consistency.
- Improve monitoring and alerting (logging/metrics/traces) and participate in incident handling with the team.
- Apply security-by-default basics (RBAC, Key Vault, network controls, policies) in collaboration with security stakeholders.
Requirements
- 3+ years in DevOps/Cloud roles, with hands-on Azure experience.
- Solid experience with Terraform and CI/CD fundamentals (Azure DevOps / GitHub).
- Scripting (PowerShell and/or Bash/Python).
- Experience supporting production systems (reliability, troubleshooting, post-incident improvements).
Nice to have
- AKS deep-dive (Ingress/Egress), blue/green or canary patterns, SLOs/SRE practices.
- Cost optimization / FinOps mindset (showback basics, right-sizing patterns).
- Certifications: CKA, AZ-104, AZ-400 are preferred and AI-102 welcome for AI work.
