What you will do
- Lead design and implementation of elastically scalable cloud solutions with high availability and security.
- Build and maintain environments from the ground up with security and performance in mind.
- Implement monitoring, metrics, and alerting systems for mission-critical applications.
- Ensure use of appropriate technologies and maintain high standards of work quality.
- Work effectively in Agile/Scrum environments and respond to urgent requests.
Requirements
- Must be located on-site in San Jose, California, United States.
- 7-9+ years experience in Cloud/SaaS environments with hands-on Linux and expert AWS skills.
- Expertise in microservices, high availability environments, and cloud environment setup and maintenance.
- Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases.
- Strong security standards and business continuity design experience.
Nice to have
- Experience with 5-9s availability environments, streaming infrastructure, auto-scalable microservices, Terraform, ECS/Fargate, and security certifications like OWASP or CISSP.
