What you will do
- Develop and maintain complex front-end applications using a mix of modern and legacy technologies, including React, jQuery, Underscore, and Bootstrap.
- Create reusable components, shared libraries, and effective state-management solutions.
- Ensure applications meet high standards for performance, accessibility, responsiveness, and cross-browser compatibility.
- Integrate front-end systems with backend APIs following best practices.
- Carry out code reviews, promote coding standards, and support good development practices.
- Identify architectural gaps, suggest technical improvements, and support technical decisions.
- Work closely with product and backend teams to ensure smooth and reliable delivery.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex defects, system issues, and performance bottlenecks.
Requirements
- Strong front-end development experience across both modern and legacy frameworks.
- Solid knowledge of JavaScript and libraries such as jQuery and Underscore.
- Experience with modern frameworks such as React alongside older systems.
- Good understanding of HTML, CSS, and LESS.
- Able to work independently or as part of a team.
- Strong understanding of development workflows, Agile delivery, and GitHub version control.
- Experience integrating with backend APIs.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
