What you will do
- Define and implement the division-wide technical strategy in collaboration with Studio Technical Directors.
- Provide expert direction to solve complex development challenges and optimize multi-studio workflows.
- Lead, coach, and mentor senior technical leaders across global teams.
- Champion the adoption of emerging technologies, specifically generative AI (LLMs), into production pipelines.
- Represent the division in technical discussions with major clients, platform holders, and hardware vendors.
- Oversee technical talent management, including structural reviews and performance expectations.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in senior technical leadership roles within the video game industry.
- Deep expertise in C++-based pipelines, engine development, and console performance optimization.
- Expert-level knowledge of Unreal Engine or Unity and industry middleware (Havok, FMOD, PhysX).
- Proven success leading multi-site or cross-functional technical teams at scale.
- Strong business acumen with the ability to connect technical innovation to business outcomes.
- Strong communication skills to explain complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
