About the Role
We are seeking a DevOps Engineer to build, maintain, and optimize infrastructure and deployment pipelines for our client. This remote position requires expertise in cloud platforms, automation, monitoring, and CI/CD to ensure systems are secure, scalable, and reliable.
What You'll Do
- Provision and manage infrastructure on AWS, GCP, or Azure cloud platforms
- Implement Infrastructure-as-Code using Terraform, Pulumi, or CloudFormation
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI, or CircleCI
- Manage Docker containers and Kubernetes clusters for microservices deployment
- Implement observability with Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, or New Relic
- Configure logging and alerting pipelines using ELK stack or Splunk
- Participate in on-call rotations and perform root cause analysis post-incident
- Optimize system performance and implement security best practices
- Collaborate with development teams on deployment strategies and automation
- Maintain documentation for infrastructure and deployment processes
What We're Looking For
- 3+ years experience in DevOps, SRE, or infrastructure engineering
- Proficiency with at least one major cloud provider (AWS, GCP, Azure)
- Strong knowledge of CI/CD tools and deployment pipeline automation
- Experience with Docker containerization and Kubernetes orchestration
- Infrastructure-as-Code expertise with Terraform or similar tools
- Knowledge of monitoring and observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog)
- Scripting skills in Python, Bash, or similar languages
- Understanding of security best practices and compliance requirements
