What you will do
- Invent tools and processes for fast, accurate, and user-friendly development and deployment systems
- Provide comprehensive software validation including virtualized, hardware-in-the-loop, and on-orbit test platforms
- Monitor and analyze data to support continuous integration and release systems
- Integrate and troubleshoot across the entire Starlink software stack
- Create and manage core infrastructure such as databases and software libraries
- Identify and implement improvements to increase developer velocity
Requirements
- Must be located in or able to work onsite in Redmond, WA, USA
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, math, or STEM discipline with 5+ years software engineering experience or 7+ years professional experience without degree
- Development experience in Python, Go, or C++
- Ability to work extended hours and weekends as needed
- Must meet ITAR requirements: U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, asylee, or eligible for required authorizations
Nice to have
- Experience in DevOps, site reliability engineering, or systems administration
- Strong understanding of testing, continuous integration, build, deployment, and monitoring
- Familiarity with Bazel or other build systems, Linux, Docker, Kubernetes, GitOps, ArgoCD
- Skills in debugging, performance optimization, and unit testing
- Experience managing large scale systems and deploying software in real-world applications
