What you will do

  • Engage directly with IT decision makers within the federal government, specifically Navy and USMC.
  • Manage warm inbound leads and conduct consultative sales calls.
  • Partner with sales engineering to deliver technical and non-technical product demos.
  • Identify cross-sell, up-sell, renewal, and new business opportunities.
  • Maintain accurate customer records and pipeline reports in Salesforce.
  • Meet or exceed quarterly sales quotas.

Requirements

  • Location: Must be based in Reston, Virginia or able to work onsite.
  • Experience in sales, preferably with value-added resellers or distributors.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to convert prospects and close deals by phone.
  • Proficiency in Salesforce preferred.
  • Understanding of IT concepts to absorb training quickly.

Nice to have

  • 2 years of sales experience.
