One of Us is seeking a Senior Generalist Asset Artist for their team.
What you will do
- Deliver high-end 3D assets (characters, props, environments) with minimal supervision.
- Ensure assets meet pipeline and render efficiency requirements.
- Provide feedback, mentorship, and support to junior and mid-level artists.
- Lead by example, delivering consistent, production-ready assets.
- Help test and improve asset tools, templates, and methods; identify and solve workflow bottlenecks.
- Collaborate with other departments (lookdev, rigging, lighting, comp) to resolve asset-related issues.
Requirements
- 6–8 years of experience in VFX or a related field.
- Expert proficiency in Maya, ZBrush, Mari, Substance Painter, and render engines.
- Mandatory experience with Maya, Houdini, and Nuke.
- Experience working with USD pipelines.
- Strong artistic eye, technical understanding of asset creation, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and mentoring abilities, with ownership of asset quality.

- Python/MEL scripting beneficial.
