We are looking for a highly experienced, proactive, and ownership-driven SEO & Traffic Lead

Growth to lead and scale traffic acquisition across all major channels for a global media platform in

the crypto industry.

This is a hybrid strategic and hands-on role combining SEO leadership, traffic analytics, and

multi-channel growth management. The right candidate will take full responsibility for traffic

performance so leadership never has to worry about whether this direction is progressing.

Key Responsibilities:

Traffic Ownership & Growth

- Own and continuously grow total platform traffic across all channels

- Monitor, analyze, and optimize traffic performance across organic search, AI-driven discovery

platforms, social media, referral and partnership channels, direct and brand traffic, and app traffic

- Build a unified traffic measurement and attribution framework

- Identify growth opportunities and execute scalable acquisition strategies

- Take full accountability for traffic KPIs and growth targets

SEO Leadership

- Define and execute global SEO strategy for an international media platform

- Deeply understand search engine algorithms, indexing, crawling, and ranking factors

- Lead technical, content, and authority SEO initiatives

- Ensure proper site architecture, internal linking, indexation, and performance optimization

- Monitor and react to algorithm updates and industry changes

ASO & App Discovery (Preferred)

- Oversee App Store Optimization strategy and improve app visibility, conversion, and acquisition

from mobile marketplaces

Analytics & Forecasting

- Build traffic forecasting models across channels, predict growth scenarios and define realistic

targets

- Track performance vs forecast and adjust strategy proactively

- Create executive-level reporting and actionable insights

Technical & Execution Management

- Translate growth needs into clear technical tasks for developers and product teams

- Define SEO and traffic-related product requirements for website, mobile apps, and distribution

systems

Team & Vendor Leadership

- Build and manage a distributed network of specialists including freelancers, agencies, and

part-time experts

- Ensure quality execution and measurable outcomes

Strategy & Planning

- Develop a long-term traffic growth strategy

- Identify key leverage points and scalable channels

  • Continuously test, validate, and iterate growth hypotheses

Requirements:

- 7+ years in SEO, growth, or traffic leadership roles

- Proven track record of scaling traffic for large media, content, or platform businesses

- Strong expertise in technical SEO, analytics, and search behavior

- Experience managing multi-channel traffic ecosystems

- Ability to own strategy and execute hands-on

- Strong analytical mindset and forecasting ability

- Experience working with international audiences and markets

- Deep understanding of modern traffic sources, including AI-driven discovery

- Ability to translate business goals into technical and growth execution

- Experience in crypto, fintech, or Web3
