What you will do
- Design, implement, and maintain enterprise firewall solutions using Palo Alto and/or Fortinet technologies.
- Engineer and optimize secure network architectures across large-scale environments.
- Analyze and troubleshoot complex network and firewall-related issues including routing and connectivity.
- Support firewall migrations, upgrades, and infrastructure enhancements.
- Collaborate with network, security, and infrastructure teams to ensure secure and scalable designs.
- Develop and utilize automation and scripting solutions to improve operational efficiency.
Requirements
- Location: Must be onsite in Irving, TX; Charlotte, NC; or Chandler, AZ
- Strong hands-on experience with Palo Alto and/or Fortinet firewalls.
- Solid understanding of network protocols and routing (TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, DNS).
- Experience in large enterprise environments.
- Proven ability to design and implement firewall infrastructure solutions.
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
Nice to have
- Experience with scripting or automation (Python, Bash).
- Familiarity with network security best practices and frameworks.
