What you will do

  • Build and manage external campaign integrations supporting the full ad campaign lifecycle.
  • Implement state machines for orchestration across complex advertising hierarchies.
  • Develop reliability patterns including rate-limiting, circuit breakers, and drift detection.
  • Collaborate on designing scalable web architecture with a focus on API and backend integrity.
  • Take ownership of projects from initial design through to production deployment.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of professional full-time experience building highly performant web applications.
  • Strong proficiency in backend development, specifically with API-driven products using GraphQL and REST.
  • Must be based in Canada or the United States.
  • Proven track record integrating third-party APIs including handling pagination, idempotency, and partial failures.
  • Deep understanding of OAuth 2.0 and secure credential management.
  • Solid foundation in system design and data modeling for complex integrations.

Nice to have

  • Experience with GoLang and Ruby on Rails.
  • Familiarity with AI-assisted developer tooling and agentic workflows.
