What you will do

  • Drive platform consumption by identifying key use cases and increasing usage among customers.
  • Lead initiatives that make measurable impacts across health, education, sustainability, and economic development.
  • Shape Databricks’ Public Sector footprint by closing strategic opportunities aligned with Australia’s digital priorities.
  • Build trusted relationships with senior decision-makers, communicating the impact of Databricks solutions.
  • Manage the end-to-end sales cycle, from prospecting to closing deals and driving platform adoption.
  • Collaborate with solution architects and customer success teams to ensure long-term customer success.

Requirements

  • A passion for helping organizations use technology for the public good.
  • Proven experience in Federal or Public Sector sales, ideally in Cloud, Data, or SaaS.
  • Strategic and structured approach, with strong execution and accountability.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with senior stakeholders.
  • Growth mindset, creativity, and adaptability in dynamic, innovative environments.
  • Knowledge of Spark and Big Data is highly desirable.
