What you will do

  • Collaborate with a small, high-performance team to create compelling audio experiences across all VR games
  • Design and produce high-quality sound effects for gameplay, UI, environments, and player interactions
  • Implement and iterate audio in Unity using middleware or native tools
  • Build and maintain audio systems and workflows for fast iteration and consistent quality
  • Optimize audio performance for VR headsets ensuring clarity and immersion
  • Test and troubleshoot audio behavior in VR to support comfort and readability

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in sound design for games, interactive media, or VR/AR
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating gameplay-driven sound design
  • Experience implementing audio in Unity with middleware or native tools
  • Knowledge of VR audio best practices including spatial audio
  • Proficiency with DAWs and audio tools such as Reaper, Pro Tools, Ableton
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills; able to iterate quickly

Nice to have

  • Experience with multiplayer games and competitive audio readability
  • Experience building procedural/parameter-driven audio systems
  • Familiarity with accessibility considerations for audio
