The Business Intelligence Analyst will play a critical role in transforming complex business data into clear, actionable insights. Leveraging deep expertise in billing system data and key business logic, they will serve as the primary owner of Power BI report development, delivering high-impact dashboards and analytics to operational and executive stakeholders. Their work will directly support strategic decision-making across Finance, Operations, and the Senior Leadership Team.
This role is ideal for a data-driven problem solver who is passionate about translating business needs into trusted, scalable reporting solutions. They will lead efforts to validate key metrics, ensure data integrity, and maintain self-service tools that empower the organization. As a key partner to cross-functional teams, their insights will help drive performance, accountability, and long-term success.
This role requires a high degree of ownership and independence. The ideal candidate is comfortable operating with minimal direction, taking loosely defined business requests and turning them into structured, actionable reporting solutions. They must be able to engage stakeholders, ask the right questions to refine requirements, independently identify and analyze relevant data, and translate business needs into scalable Power BI reports using advanced SQL.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports for both operational and executive stakeholders. You will be responsible for delivering visually compelling and user-friendly dashboards that surface key performance indicators. These reports must meet evolving business needs and support both high-level insights and day-to-day decision-making.
  • Translate complex business needs into clear, actionable reporting and data visualizations. You'll work closely with stakeholders to understand their goals and convert ambiguous requirements into structured reporting solutions. This includes selecting the right metrics, designing intuitive visualizations, and ensuring data stories are easy to interpret.
  • Lead data validation efforts to ensure consistency, accuracy, and trust in reporting outputs. You'll establish and execute data quality checks to verify the integrity of source data and logic. Maintaining stakeholder confidence in reporting is critical to supporting data-driven decisions.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Finance, Operations, and Senior Leadership Team to deliver performance metrics that inform strategic decisions. You’ll work as a strategic partner to key teams, ensuring your reports provide the right context and granularity for decision-making. Your ability to anticipate stakeholder needs and proactively offer insights will be key to your success.
  • Manage recurring performance reporting cycles and respond to ad-hoc data requests. You'll oversee routine reporting processes to ensure timely, consistent delivery of key metrics. In parallel, you’ll remain agile and responsive to one-off requests that arise from business priorities and leadership needs.
  • Maintain and enhance self-service reporting tools to support scalable, data-informed decision-making. You will improve and support self-service dashboards that allow business users to access insights independently. This includes optimizing usability, training users, and driving adoption across the organization.
  • Act as a liaison between technical teams and business users to align reporting with practical use cases and priorities. You'll bridge the gap between data engineering and the business, ensuring reports are grounded in real-world operations. Your role will include gathering feedback, managing expectations, and refining outputs to match strategic objectives.

  • Proficiency in SQL and experience working with large datasets from multiple sources.
  • Familiar data modeling, data warehousing concepts and best practices.
  • Experience working with ERP, billing, or CRM systems -- ICOMS experience is a plus.
  • Comfortable working within Agile and Scrum-lite project management frameworks.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Analytics, Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field.
