What you will do
- Execute manual testing of data pipelines, dashboards, and SQL queries for validation.
- Design and maintain automated test cases for data pipeline validation using SQL, Python, and DBT.
- Test data transformations from ingestion through model layers (dbt, Snowflake).
- Collaborate with data engineers and analysts to define test plans and acceptance criteria.
- Contribute to test documentation and QA processes.
- Identify and report data issues, anomalies, and inconsistencies proactively.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in QA with a strong background in manual testing.
- At least 1+ years working on data-centric or analytics projects.
- Proficiency in SQL for querying and validating large datasets.
- Exposure to Python or similar languages for test automation is a plus.
- Experience validating ETL/ELT workflows or dashboards.
- Exceptional attention to detail with outstanding analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
