Forward Deployed Engineer (AI): Ensuring Murphy’s AI product is correctly configured and aligned with each client’s operational needs, translating business requirements into structured system configurations. Focus on optimizing agent performance through iteration and analysis, acting as the technical counterpart to clients, and providing structured product feedback to improve the platform.

Location: Hybrid - 3 days a week at our office in London, and 2 days of remote work.

What you will do

  • Deliver technically robust client configurations ensuring every deployment is technically correct and aligned with agreed requirements.
  • Continuously analyze performance metrics and improve voice agent and communication flows using data to identify patterns and implement measurable improvements.
  • Act as the technical counterpart to clients, clearly explaining architecture, constraints, and product capabilities.
  • Provide structured product feedback, raise structured product requests with clear context, impact, and proposed direction.
  • Design scalable and reusable solutions ensuring configurations are maintainable across clients.

Requirements

  • Strong client-facing technical presence and comfortable engaging in technical discussions with clients.
  • Deep product and systems understanding with the ability to reason end-to-end about data flows, architecture, dependencies, and system behavior.
  • Structured problem-solving mindset and designs structured configurations rather than quick patches.
  • Analytical and performance-driven thinking using data to guide improvements.
  • Product collaboration discipline and contributes to product evolution.
  • Extreme ownership of configuration quality and takes responsibility for outcomes.
