What you will do
- Design, implement, and maintain performance testing and data generation frameworks using k6, JavaScript, Grafana, and InfluxDB.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, architectural decision records, and performance standards.
- Define and evolve best practices for performance optimization, scalability, and measurement.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to analyze bottlenecks and drive remediation strategies.
Requirements
- Must reside in the USA within specified states or be willing to work remotely from these locations.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
- 6+ years software engineering experience including 2+ years with k6 or other load test frameworks and JavaScript.
- 2+ years experience in cloud native environments, preferably AWS.
- Strong background in performance design, tuning, and distributed systems.
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Bash and Python.
