What you will do
- Support the execution of structured security assessments across business applications.
- Participate in application walkthroughs to analyze architecture, access flows, and usage patterns.
- Review and validate security controls including authentication, authorization, and logging practices.
- Identify and escalate potential control gaps to the core Digital Security team.
- Maintain tracking documentation for assessments and follow-up remediation items.
- Standardize assessment templates and reporting formats to improve repeatable processes.
Requirements
- Must be actively enrolled in a college or university undergraduate or graduate program in Cybersecurity, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Must be available to work full-time (40 hours per week) for the duration of the internship.
- Demonstrated interest in cybersecurity through academics, previous work experience, or extracurriculars.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with comfort in reviewing technical documentation.
- Growth mindset and the ability to learn new systems quickly.
