What you will do

  • Oversee the editorial process from conception to production, ensuring thorough research and timely delivery.
  • Foster creativity, innovation, and professional growth within the journalism team through mentoring.
  • Build partnerships and engage experts to enrich storytelling.

Requirements

  • Strong editorial judgment and ability to develop impactful stories.
  • Recent senior-level experience in leading content production for radio and digital, focused on the Great Lakes region.
  • Proven experience launching new digital products or programs that drove growth.
  • Substantial knowledge of data analytics tools for editorial decision-making.
  • Experience managing high-level stakeholders.
  • Exceptional writing, editing, and communication skills in Kinyarwanda, Kirundi, and English are essential.
