What you will do

  • Perform entertainment, marketing, PR, and Life Sciences translations and reviews from English to German.
  • Execute copy edit tasks on assigned projects or accounts (English to German).
  • Provide lead support and coordinate activities for a group of internal and freelance translators.
  • Manage and maintain language materials including glossaries, Style Guides, and work instructions.
  • Conduct research to ensure the best quality of delivery and follow established processes.
  • Interact with clients on linguistic matters and participate in process development.

Requirements

  • Native fluency in German required.
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken, across various registers) required.
  • 3+ years of experience in Translation/Localization of marketing & Life Sciences content.
  • University degree in Translation/Applied Languages or equivalent.
  • Thorough understanding of the localization process.
  • Experience with standard CAT tools (e.g., XTM, SDL Studio) and issue tracking tools (e.g., JIRA).
