Salary: $150,000 - $180,000 Annually + Benefits + Equity + Bonus

What you will do
- Drive statewide growth by identifying opportunities with large California agencies to fund Peregrine's deployment.
- Serve as the face of Peregrine to state and local officials, influencers, advisors, and lobbyists.
- Build trusted relationships with senior state and local officials and convert them into concrete opportunities.
- Map California’s strategic priorities to Peregrine’s products to create actionable go-to-market pathways.
- Work cross-functionally with Growth, Customer, Marketing, Communications and Product teams to align resources and accelerate growth.
- Manage external partners, advisors, lobbyists, and consultants who can help accelerate growth across California.
Requirements
- Intimate understanding of the issues and challenges facing the public safety community, as well as state and local government.
- 7+ years in government partnerships, public-sector business development, or state-level strategy.
- Proven ability to turn government priorities, funding flows, or legislative/policy windows into commercial opportunities.
- Strong relationships or working familiarity with California state agencies and their decision-making processes.
- Executive level verbal and written communication, relationship-building, and strategic planning skills.
- Entrepreneurial mindset; thrives in a fast-paced, high-expectation, mission-driven environment.
