What you will do
- Lead the design vision and success of Pass products including Battle Pass and Fortnite Crew.
- Collaborate with Game Design, UXUI, Production, Art, QA, and executive stakeholders to align product goals.
- Guide design of unlock, progression, reward, and monetization systems for a holistic player experience.
- Work with 1st and 3rd party platforms like Unreal Editor for Fortnite to maintain progression integrity.
- Mentor the XP system team and establish strategies and guardrails for healthy gameplay.
- Participate in playtests and provide actionable feedback to improve the live game experience.
Requirements
- Location: Must be onsite in Montreal, Canada.
- 7+ years senior leadership experience in game design focused on pass-type engagement systems; subscription experience is a plus.
- Strong analytical skills and experience working with data scientists and product managers.
- Experience with PC/Console, Mobile, F2P, and live service progression and monetization systems.
- Proven ability to manage stakeholders across multiple teams and disciplines.
- Deep understanding of player motivations and multiplayer game progression products.
