What you will do
- Design, build, and launch new products in close collaboration with customers, engineers, and leaders.
- Take full ownership of developing end-to-end applications from concept to delivery.
- Build and improve APIs, integrating with third-party services.
- Partner with customer success and stakeholders to understand customer needs and translate them into useful features.
- Ensure code reliability and maintainability through solid testing and thoughtful reviews.
- Run and measure product experiments to guide future development.
Requirements
- BS/MS degree in computer science or an engineering discipline.
- 6+ years of full stack software development experience.
- Advanced knowledge in Ruby (Rails), Javascript (React), or similar languages/frameworks.
- Experimentation mindset with autonomy to validate customer needs and ship rapid MVPs.
- Comfort with ambiguity, balancing speed and perfection, and guiding product direction.
- An A-player mindset with a strong bias for action and ownership to deliver meaningful outcomes.
Nice to have
- Experience building scalable technical architecture to support 10mm+ users.
- Background in trust & safety, IDV, background check products or criminal data.
- Expertise in data analysis and processing.
- Experience building and working with scrapers and scraping technology
