Product Operations & Tech Intern: Supporting the strengthening and scaling of Eneco's digital products with an accent on improving transparency, decision-making, and measurable value creation. Focus on strategic tracking, initiative performance reporting, and optimizing governance in digital tools.

Location: Hybrid in Rotterdam, Netherlands, working 40% at the office, 40% from home, and 20% flexibly. Temporary work abroad up to 3 weeks/year (max 2 consecutively) is possible with manager approval.

What you will do

  • Help strengthen how Eneco steers and scales its digital products.
  • Support strategic tracking and initiative performance reporting.
  • Improve portfolio and roadmap transparency across teams.
  • Analyze delivery performance (cycle time, throughput, predictability).
  • Help structure and optimize governance in digital tools.
  • Collaborate closely with DevOps teams to improve planning and execution alignment.
  • Contribute to executive-ready reporting and value narratives.
  • Design practical templates, dashboards, and operating standards.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s student (WO level) in Business, Innovation, Engineering, Data, Industrial Engineering, Strategy, or a related field.
  • Think analytically and structurally.
  • Comfortable working with data and dashboards.
  • Enjoys improving systems and processes.
  • Asks critical questions and challenges assumptions.
  • Communicate clearly in English.

Nice to have

  • Experience with Agile, Kanban, OKRs, delivery tracking tools, or analytics tools.
  • Proficiency in Dutch.
