What you will do

  • Establish DeepL's presence in Switzerland and present the translation service to Swiss clients to eliminate their language barriers.
  • Qualify and convert leads, managing the entire sales cycle and helping shape the Switzerland go-to-market strategy.
  • Build a new business pipeline from scratch and pursue upselling and cross-selling opportunities as the Swiss customer base grows.
  • Respond to a large volume of inbound prospects and customers, managing a range of opportunities from qualification to close.
  • Forecast and track all opportunity and customer details including use cases, purchase timeframes, and next steps.
  • Collaborate with international teams, contributing insights from the Swiss market to inform the expansion strategy.

Requirements

  • Experienced in Enterprise SaaS sales specifically into the DACH region, with strong knowledge of the Swiss market landscape.
  • Experience selling into and expanding large Enterprise accounts as well as selling emerging technologies and winning new logos.
  • Known for consistently overachieving against sales quotas.
  • Ability to collaborate with and orchestrate cross-functional teams.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset: Thriving on the challenge of building something new and excited by the opportunity to shape DeepL's Switzerland market entry.
  • Fluency in German and English.
