What you will do

  • Lead a design team to deliver high-impact outcomes on complex projects, focusing on team performance and execution.
  • Translate complex business objectives into clear, actionable, and user-centric solutions.
  • Develop and communicate holistic design strategies grounded in quantitative and qualitative insights.
  • Embed systems thinking by defining and evolving design system components for scalability and consistency.
  • Coach and manage team members, fostering a high-performing culture and overseeing project delivery.
  • Proactively explore and integrate AI and emerging technologies to shape new approaches.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of industry experience in a people management role on a Design team.
  • Foundational design-related education (Bachelor of Design, Visual Arts, Architecture, Industrial Design, or Communication).
  • Applied experience within the retail industry with strong service design foundations.
  • Fluency with product, design, and prototyping tools such as Figma, Google Suite, and Miro.
  • Experience with Agile design sprint methodologies and the Jira platform.
  • Excellent communication, data visualization, and strategic thinking skills.
