What you will do
- Build Databricks notebooks and visualizations to compare existing and new data streams, scheduled to run daily.
- Troubleshoot and identify the root cause for missing data and volume discrepancies.
- Open data quality issues to respective teams and follow up on fixes.
- Report data quality improvements and current comparisons in an understandable format to all stakeholders and leadership.
Requirements
- 5+ years of commercial experience.
- Strong SQL skills and experience working with large datasets.
- Experience with Databricks or similar data platforms.
- Solid analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to investigate data discrepancies.
- Experience with data quality checks, data validation, or data comparison.
- Ability to work with data pipelines and event-based data streams.
- Experience creating dashboards or data visualizations (Looker, Tableau, Power BI, or similar).
- Ability to communicate findings clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Attention to detail and a proactive approach to troubleshooting data issues.
