What you will do
- Develop and maintain automation scripts for network security operations in FortiGate and Check Point environments.
- Automate firewall configuration and policy management using Python, Bash, Ansible, and Jinja2.
- Manage and integrate REST APIs to streamline security workflows.
- Implement infrastructure-as-code practices with Git-based version control.
- Support configuration management, compliance checks, and inventory automation.
- Contribute to CI/CD pipelines for automated deployment of network and security configurations.
Requirements
- Location: Must be based in or able to work hybrid in Porto, Portugal
- Experience in NetSecOps, Network Automation, or Infrastructure Automation roles.
- Proficiency with FortiGate (FortiOS CLI, REST API) and/or Check Point (SmartCenter API, Cpshell).
- Skills in Ansible, Jinja2 templating, Python, and Bash scripting for network/security tasks.
- Experience with REST APIs, JSON/XML data handling, and Git-based version control.
