What you will do
- Lead and manage complex projects from initiation to closure, ensuring adherence to scope, budget, and timeline.
- Manage on-site program logistics and operations, coordinating with speakers, presenters, and other external contributors.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including project plans, status reports, and risk registers.
- Communicate project updates, requirements, and challenges to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Identify, analyze, and resolve complex project issues and roadblocks, proposing innovative solutions.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with all project stakeholders, fostering collaboration and ensuring alignment.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Project Management, Communications, Business Administration).
- 5+ years of progressive experience in program management or operations.
- Proven ability to create and manage high-level documentation.
- Comfort with running events and programming, both in-person and virtually.
- Ability to independently and collaboratively manage regional events and community programs.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Nice to have
- Past experience working with vendors and agency partners.
- Proven track record of driving complex initiatives from conception to successful execution.
- Experience working within the developer ecosystem.
- PMP or equivalent certification.
