Location: 100% remote within the U.S. (any U.S. time zone)
Salary: $24.54 - $34.50 per hour. Annual pay range of $51,043 - $71,760.

What you will do
- Serve as the daily point of contact for assigned students, addressing their academic concerns and supporting their growth.
- Conduct advising meetings to address academic concerns and apply social-emotional learning strategies to promote engagement and progress.
- Monitor and analyze student data to identify indicators of struggle, assess patterns, and initiate appropriate support.
- Maintain clear, timely documentation of student interactions and advising decisions.
- Engage with students in online social spaces, clubs, and events, fostering a supportive online community.
- Act as a liaison between students, families, and school administration to ensure clear and effective communication.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Secondary Education or related field
- Minimum 2 years of full-time experience in a student-facing role at the secondary level (grades 7–12)
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to communicate with families and collaborate with colleagues.
- Demonstrated professional judgment and ability to balance empathy with accountability in student-facing decisions.
- Ability to work effectively in a fully remote environment.
- Availability during school hours, Monday through Friday between 8 am and 4 pm in a U.S. timezone (ET, CT, MT, or PT) is required.
Nice to have
- Online advising or teaching experience
- Experience supporting neurodiverse learners
- Familiarity with homeschool communities
- Experience using student data to guide interventions
- Proficiency in Google Suite and/or Airtable
