ESET is seeking a Senior Legal Counsel to support its business and technology departments with legal guidance and contract drafting.
What you will do
- Manage complex legal projects, including drafting, reviewing, and negotiating technology agreements and legal documentation.
- Prepare complex legal analysis and provide tailored guidance to business and technology teams.
- Act as a subject matter expert on technology-related agreements, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
- Stay updated on legal developments in IT and data protection, identifying potential risks and opportunities.
- Continuously identify and implement improvements in legal processes and contract templates.
- Represent the company in negotiations with external parties.
Requirements
- Advanced legal degree (Mgr. or LLM).
- Minimum of 8 years of post-graduate legal experience, with at least 5 years in a law firm or as in-house counsel.
- Expertise and extensive experience in technology, software, and SaaS agreements.
- Proven expertise in GDPR compliance, international data transfers, and data protection frameworks.
- Legal English (C1) - Advanced knowledge required.
- Strong negotiation, interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
- This position is a maternity/parental leave cover.
