What you will do
- Shape how SoftServe serves Payments companies globally and represent SoftServe’s payments expertise in industry events and client discussions.
- Work directly with executives of fintechs, PSPs, and payment platforms.
- Lead discovery engagements that turn business challenges into digital transformation roadmaps.
- Build accelerators, frameworks, and thought leadership for the payments industry.
- Help clients improve merchant experience, payment performance, risk management, and operational efficiency.
- Guide delivery teams to ensure solutions align with industry best practices.
Requirements
- A payment domain professional with 5+ years of experience, combining strong industry expertise with product management, and hands-on delivering digital payment solutions and consulting engagements.
- A confident discovery lead who can frame complex problems, align stakeholders, define the right approach, and facilitate interviews and workshops to uncover improvement opportunities in business processes and technology.
- Skilled in process analysis and structured problem-solving, including benchmarking, applying industry best practices, mapping dependencies, prioritizing initiatives, and identifying risks and assumptions.
- Experienced in payments ecosystem (B2C and B2B), with a strong understanding of key industry participants.
- Knowledgeable of core payments capabilities and processes, including merchant onboarding, payment methods and transaction flows, dispute and chargeback management, settlement and reconciliation, fraud and risk management, and regulatory considerations.
- A strong communicator in English (C1) who can tailor messages effectively for subject-matter experts, managers, and C-level stakeholders.
Nice to have
- Experienced working with e-commerce merchants, payment gateway integrations, and settlement and reconciliation processes.
- An expert in collaborating with engineering teams to deliver product roadmaps, product analytics, or conversion optimization initiatives.
- Industry certifications or ongoing professional development in payments, fintech, or digital product management: CPP, VPP, MPP, APRP, AAP, PCIP or similar.
