What you will do
- Work independently with limited supervision on data platform development and maintenance
- Implement CI/CD pipelines and automation for deployment and administration
- Set up proactive monitoring and alerting for platform health
- Troubleshoot production issues and optimize platform performance and cost
- Collaborate with IT and business partners to improve processes
Requirements
- Location: Must be based in or near Galway, Ireland
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field
- Minimum 2 years relevant experience or advanced degree with no experience
- Proficiency in SQL and set theory (SQLServer/Trino)
- Experience with CI/CD tools like GitHub Actions or Azure Pipelines
- Knowledge of IaC tools such as Terraform or Ansible
- Familiarity with big data technologies (AWS Glue, Athena, Lake Formation)
- Python skills, Pandas a plus
