What you will do
- Own the technical direction of Investments Platforms covering custody, offer, orders, accounts, settlement, and more.
- Lead migration strategies from legacy investment systems to modern platforms while ensuring operational continuity and regulatory compliance.
- Design and implement a disruptive investments architecture rethinking end-to-end investment modeling and operations.
- Drive AI adoption in engineering and product development within the investments domain.
- Collaborate closely with other platform teams such as Payments and Banking and product squads consuming Investments Platforms.
- Operate within a global scope with hybrid work flexibility based in Brazil.
Requirements
- 12+ years of software engineering experience including 5+ years on large-scale platforms in transactional environments.
- Proven experience building extensible, multi-tenant, domain-agnostic business platforms.
- Strong background in distributed systems, event-driven architectures, and platform engineering leadership.
- Hands-on investments platform expertise and understanding of Brazilian capital markets.
- Fluency in Portuguese is important; English proficiency is a plus but not mandatory.
- Experience with AI tools and enthusiasm for AI-first engineering culture.
