What you will do

  • Lead a design team to deliver high-impact outcomes on complex projects within the Retail Classic experience.
  • Translate complex business objectives into clear, actionable design solutions, identifying problems proactively.
  • Drive user-centricity by developing and communicating holistic design strategies grounded in quantitative and qualitative insights.
  • Embed systems thinking by defining foundational components, evolving the design system, and ensuring scalability.
  • Coach and manage team members, overseeing project delivery and fostering a high-performing culture.
  • Proactively explore and integrate AI and emerging technologies into design approaches.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of industry experience in a people management role on a Design team.
  • Foundational design-related education (Bachelor of Design, Visual Arts, Architecture, Industrial Design, or Communication).
  • Applied experience within the retail industry with strong service design foundations.
  • Experience with Agile design sprint methodologies, tools, and processes, including Jira.
  • Fluency with product, design, and prototyping tools such as Figma, Google Suite, and Miro.
  • English: B2 required
