TL;DR

Senior MLOps Engineer (ML): Productionize and automate ML model pipelines and deployments for critical ranking, retrieval, and recommendation systems serving millions of users with an accent on robust automation, quality gates, and ML lifecycle standards. Focus on building continuous training pipelines, automating model serving, and collaborating closely with Data Scientists to ensure high-quality production ML workflows.

Location: Hybrid work model with recommended 2 days in office; office located in Vilnius, Lithuania. Must be able to work within European time zones.

Salary: €85,000 - €115,000 gross per year

What you will do

  • Productionize ML models by migrating training code to robust, automated pipelines.
  • Design, build, and maintain continuous training pipelines for data preparation, model training, and batch scoring.
  • Automate model serving and integration using platforms like Vespa and Triton.
  • Automate model deployment processes, including building GitHub Actions triggered by training pipeline completions.
  • Build automated data and model quality gates to ensure production readiness.
  • Establish and improve ML model lifecycle standards, quality, and governance.

Requirements

  • Location: Based in or able to work within Europe, preferably near Vilnius.
  • Deep expertise in GCP/Vertex AI or equivalent platforms.
  • Strong experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and CI/CD automation (GitHub Actions, Jenkins).
  • Good understanding of ML workflows including training, evaluation, and inference.
  • Excellent communication skills and a strong service mindset to bridge Data Science and Infrastructure teams.

Nice to have

  • Familiarity with ML serving platforms like Vespa search engine or NVIDIA Triton.
  • Experience with model formats such as ONNX.
