What you will do
- Manage R&D engineers, overseeing performance reviews, training, and professional development.
- Lead recruitment efforts to scale the engineering team in alignment with ambitious growth plans.
- Develop and implement standardized workflows across software and electrical engineering modules.
- Audit and improve internal tooling to ensure teams have optimal resources for high-speed execution.
- Contribute to organizational design and cross-functional delivery strategy.
- Collaborate with leadership to shape the technical vision and product roadmap.
Requirements
- Proven experience transitioning from an Individual Contributor role to technical management.
- Track record of hiring and growing high-performing teams, ideally in aeronautics or high-stakes sectors.
- Strong academic background in engineering or a related technical discipline.
- Ability to maintain technical engagement while focusing on management duties.
- Exceptional communication skills and a high bar for operational excellence.
