What you will do

  • Design and implement new game systems and improve existing ones using C++
  • Manage programming tasks and coordinate with the production team
  • Fix bugs and maintain the Big Ant Engine code base
  • Analyze and resolve game engine issues such as load times, memory usage, and performance

Requirements

  • Must have working rights in Australia; no visa sponsorship available
  • Bachelor’s degree in software engineering, computer science, or equivalent
  • Minimum 3 years programming experience, preferably in game development
  • Strong knowledge of C++ and basic engine/middleware understanding
  • Good communication and teamwork skills

Nice to have

  • Experience with current generation consoles (PS4, Xbox One)
  • Experience with scripting languages such as Lua or Python
