We are seeking a highly hands-on Salesforce Business Consultant who will operate as the functional lead across the programme, combining responsibilities of a Business Analyst, Product Owner, and Delivery Manager. This role is accountable not just for defining requirements, but for owning them through configuration, validation, and delivery in support of a December 2026 go-live target.
This is not a documentation-only role - this individual must be comfortable configuring Salesforce directly, making trade-off decisions, and driving outcomes in a fast-paced, cross-border environment.

Key Responsibilities


Product Ownership & Requirements
  • Act as the de facto Product Owner, owning backlog definition, prioritisation, and acceptance criteria
  • Lead discovery workshops and translate business needs into clear, actionable user stories
  • Make day-to-day decisions on scope, trade-offs, and functional design in alignment with stakeholders

Hands-On Configuration
  • Perform Salesforce configuration (objects, fields, flows, validation rules, page layouts, permissions, etc.)
  • Configure and adapt managed package functionality within defined constraints
  • Partner with technical teams on more complex customisations and integrations

Delivery Management
  • Drive day-to-day delivery execution, ensuring progress against sprint and milestone commitments
  • Coordinate across business, QA, and technical teams to remove blockers and maintain momentum
  • Own UAT readiness, execution, and business sign-off

Validation & Quality
  • Define and execute test scenarios and acceptance criteria
  • Lead defect triage with clear prioritisation and resolution direction
  • Ensure functional continuity of all business processes post-migration
Stakeholder & Communication
  • Act as the primary bridge between business and technical teams
  • Facilitate bilingual workshops and ensure alignment across Mandarin and English-speaking stakeholders
  • Ensure all key artefacts (user stories, test scripts, training materials) are delivered bilingually

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

  • 5+ years in Salesforce consulting roles with hands-on configuration experience
  • Proven experience acting as a Product Owner or functional lead on Salesforce implementations
  • Experience driving delivery in Agile or hybrid environments
  • Strong track record of owning features end-to-end (requirements → build → test → release)
Highly Desired Experience
  • Travel & Hospitality domain experience (booking, reservations, pricing, inventory)
  • Experience working with complex Salesforce managed packages (ISV solutions)
  • Experience in data migration projects (mapping, transformation, validation)
  • Experience with Alibaba Cloud or China-based deployments
  • Prior experience in cross-border or bilingual delivery environments
Skills & Qualifications
  • Fluent in Mandarin and English
  • Strong decision-making ability - comfortable operating with ownership, not just facilitation

  • Able to balance speed with structure in a complex delivery environment
