What you will do
- Design and develop scalable automation frameworks for web and mobile applications from scratch.
- Develop automated UI tests using Playwright and manage cross-browser testing with BrowserStack.
- Build mobile automation tests for iOS and Android apps using Appium or similar tools.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to ensure test stability and coverage.
- Establish coding standards, reusable components, and best practices for automation.
- Provide training and mentorship to QA engineers transitioning from manual to automated testing.
Requirements
- Location: Must work onsite in Detroit, MI with 3 days in office
- 7+ years of experience in software testing and quality engineering.
- 5+ years of experience building automation frameworks from scratch.
- Strong hands-on experience with Playwright and BrowserStack (mandatory).
- Experience with mobile automation frameworks such as Appium.
- Strong programming skills in JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, or Java.
Nice to have
- Experience with performance and load testing tools like k6 or Apache JMeter.
- Experience with API automation testing.
- Experience working in Agile and DevOps teams.
- Experience implementing test reporting dashboards and quality metrics.
