What you will do
- Conduct rapid risk analysis and implement mitigation plans within 10 days of deployment.
- Launch and manage a risk dashboard to track priority threats, mitigations, and status.
- Embed risk mitigation into every stage of the response cycle, from assessment to program delivery.
- Collaborate with HR and management to ensure all personnel receive risk awareness and ethics training.
- Identify internal control gaps and escalate concerns in compliance with organizational policies.
- Review and improve Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to enhance operational efficiency.
Requirements
- 6+ years of experience in operations and program implementation in an international development environment.
- Fluency in English with excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Experience working in an emergency response context or fragile states.
- Demonstrable skills in identifying and supporting fraud risk management.
- Ability to work effectively in fast-paced, multi-cultural, and stressful deployment settings.
- Solid digital literacy including MS Word, Excel, and accounting software.
Nice to have
- Working knowledge of Arabic, French, or Spanish.
