What you will do

  • Conduct rapid risk analysis and implement mitigation plans within 10 days of deployment.
  • Launch and manage a risk dashboard to track priority threats, mitigations, and status.
  • Embed risk mitigation into every stage of the response cycle, from assessment to program delivery.
  • Collaborate with HR and management to ensure all personnel receive risk awareness and ethics training.
  • Identify internal control gaps and escalate concerns in compliance with organizational policies.
  • Review and improve Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to enhance operational efficiency.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of experience in operations and program implementation in an international development environment.
  • Fluency in English with excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Experience working in an emergency response context or fragile states.
  • Demonstrable skills in identifying and supporting fraud risk management.
  • Ability to work effectively in fast-paced, multi-cultural, and stressful deployment settings.
  • Solid digital literacy including MS Word, Excel, and accounting software.

Nice to have

  • Working knowledge of Arabic, French, or Spanish.
  • Prior experience delivering risk awareness training.
